A little bit about me: My name is Sandra Clukey (pronounced CLUE-KEY). I am an award winning, published professional photographer and I love my job! I am also married to the most wonderful man in the world who served in the United States Air Force for 23 years. We have two amazing sons whom I love with all my heart, and two beautiful and amazing daughter-in-laws that I love as daughters! I love God, I love my church, and I love my handsome, energetic, and boisterous Border Collie and my gorgeous, totally bossy, frisky and mischievous American Eskimo Spitz! What an entertaining combo they are!!
I enjoy a good book, lunch with a friend, a hot cup of tea, and a mug of hot chocolate loaded with whipped cream. Belgian chocolate is my weakness, make it dark chocolate and you have found my kryptonite! Bring me a cannoli and we will be friends forever!
I am originally from Philadelphia Pennsylvania and I currently reside in the beautiful town of Cleveland Tennessee. I love to travel and have traveled extensively in the beautiful USA and throughout Europe where we lived for almost 10 years. My passion for photography is not just limited to Cleveland Tennessee and the surrounding cities, it also extends to anywhere in the USA and abroad!
I truly believe that I have one of the greatest jobs in the world: Capturing moments! The precious moments of the lives of those whom I am blessed, honored, and privileged to be a part of. My passion is to bring out the beauty in people, in relationships, and in life through the wonderful art of photography!
While I offer many different forms of photography, I specialize in weddings, engagements, and high school and college senior portraits. Why? Because they are my favorites! I don't think I ever stop smiling while I photograph a wedding! And seniors are just so fun and almost always love having their photos taken and having a great time while doing it!
When it comes to processing your images I do not just batch process. Each and every image is individually and carefully looked at and edited as needed by me in order to give you the best quality image possible. Why? Because 21st century photography is not just about what you do behind the camera, it is also about what you do in front of the computer. You must be highly skilled in both areas in order to deliver high quality images. I will never deliver an image to a client that I would not be happy to receive myself, if I were the client. I give you my best because you deserve the best!
Every photographer has their own unique style. My editing style is true to life, bright, clean and timeless. I aim to keep all the details in that exquisite wedding dress that you carefully selected and fell in love with! My goal is to capture honest, beautiful images that portray the look and colors that you lovingly chose for your special day. I look for those wonderful candid moments that capture the many emotions throughout the day, while also making sure to capture those classic, posed portraits we all know and love. And when it comes to posing, unless you are a professional model, I will never just put you out there and say, "Okay, pose for me!" That would be horrifying for many people, including myself! Ahh! Instead, I teach you, I guide you, and I help you every step of the way!
